Initiatives for female leaders

Female Leaders Cross-Mentoring Program

An exchange across corporate boundaries often provides a valuable impetus for your own job and your own career. This is precisely what we aim to encourage through our Female Leaders Cross-Mentoring Program. As a mentee, you’ll have experienced mentors with many years of leadership experience on your side to advise you on your career ambitions over the course of a year. Mentors come from some 20 leading companies and bring with them concentrated levels of expertise. In open and trusting exchanges, mentors and mentees broaden their own points of view in order to learn something new with a great deal of motivation – something which of course holds true for both sides involved.

Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF)

OSRAM’s female executives from all over the world come together each year to attend the Women’s Leadership Forum in Munich. For two days, they examine the opportunities available for their own career development. How can I effectively shape my career moves? Where does my potential lie? What makes a good executive? How do male and female leadership styles differ? Answers to these questions are discussed in intensive career coaching sessions. By this point, participants at the WLF will have already completed a personality questionnaire and engaged in 360° feedback, both of which are also part of the program. Participants receive tips on long-term career planning as well as tips for everyday working life, specific pieces of advice on their personal demeanor, rhetoric, self-perception and perception by others. The WLF has established itself at OSRAM as a platform for exchanging personal and professional experience and an opportunity for networking.
